Parks and Facilities
Albuquerque’s Parks & Recreation Department oversees a diverse network of over 300 parks, open spaces, trails, community centers, and sports complexes. The system is managed by the City of Albuquerque’s Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with Bernalillo County for county-level facilities and the New Mexico state for the Rio Grande Valley State Park. These spaces serve all ages and offer a wide range of activities—from hiking and biking to senior programs, tennis, community events, and youth sports.
